Breakin (Monday & Thursday 5-6, ages 6-12) Come learn the various aspects of Breakin from basics to complex moves. Daddy Long Leggs has what it takes to build you from ground up as potentially one of the hottest dancers or crews in the making. Each class contains history on the various dance elements, terminology and culture as well as the physical breakdowns. There is only one true source on how to learn to break and that’s here with Daddy Long Leggs, who was a member of the first hip-hop group to dance at Everett over thirty years ago! Taught by Prov. RI's 24 + year veteran Daddy Long Leggs of the all star Breakin crew "401 Rockerz".

Story Dance 1 (Tuesday 4-5, ages 5-7) Come dance out some of your favorite fairy tales as you learn to express emotions and characters through movement! School Mission

Through rigorous arts training with members of Everett Company, the students of Everett School learn to value and nurture their inner resources and speak with their own voices. Everett school is a laboratory where students and teachers are supported as artists in their work of creation and discovery. It is a learning system based on collaboration and play. Our mentorship and apprenticeship programs offer students opportunities to create and perform original work, gain experiences as assistant teachers, and perform in the community. Students are invested in over the long haul and see great growth as a result. Some of our students will come to see themselves as artists and pursue more professional training; others will simply come to see themselves as people with something of value to contribute to the world, pursuing a wide range of interests with passion and confidence.

School Values
