Everett Company premiered its newest original production, In Each Other's Arms at Brown University in September of 2025 followed by a run at Everett Stage. Drawn from true and deeply personal stories, the work explores the meanings, emotions and rituals of death and loss that we create and carry. In touching post show talk backs audiences shared how the piece connected them to their own experiences of loss in meaningful ways. One audience member left saying, "“I just found that masterful. It was like therapy for me. I didn’t know I was supposed to bring a box of tissues... It was really so moving and authentic... I loved it.”
Everett Stage has hosted monthly Open Stage events all year. Each month local artists have gathered to share their art and support each other. Dancers, rappers, poets, comedians and more have graced the stage and from the nine year old singers to the professional musicians - everyone is embraced with love. Open Stage continues to be a gathering for the community, by the community.
At Everett School each week students from elementary through high school are deeply engaged in learning and creating. From practicing breakin' moves to creating improv scenes based on their own lives, these young people are pulled from the increasingly online world and brought into the present in important ways. As they develop skills and grow, they also find in each other positive friendships that last years. As our middle school student Ethan put it, "The best part of Everett is everything. The stuff we do here, the people we meet and we can be ourselves."
We thank you for being a part of our ever growing and evolving community especially as we need each other now more than ever. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year!
